Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie will present two works: Cyclone Tracery (2018) ir Inside the Machine (2017)
Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie, widely regarded as one of the most active and generous creators in the analog cinema community, join the festival's cinema expanded program. Their shows showcase a tireless and consistent exploration of 16mm film. The two presented works explore the relationship between the filmmaker, the film medium and the performative moment of projection.

"The acrobatics of the work are possible thanks to a long apprenticeship by Tuohy and Barrie to the film medium, which has allowed them to cultivate possibilities (...) that would be unimaginable otherwise, making the film machine do not what it was intended to do but what it can do (albeit with great difficulty)."  Theirs is (...) a medium specificity (...) of forces, energies, processes, and relations discovered in Tuohy and Barrie’s tireless plumbing of the depths of their medium."
