Second festival takes projection and film form in Great Tit cafe, Vilnius.

It is pleasure to have a guest Guillaume Anglard with cinematic performance with slide projectors and music.

Paulina Pukyte’s project „Why Are Your Legs So...“ is a series of doubled found slides from 60s and 70s. Juxtaposing two unconnected images of anonymous people Pukyte unlocks their coded meanings invisible to the naked eye, as if unveiling the world in which reality and truth are inextricably entangled with fantasies and lies.

Karolis Milaševičius with Still Motion series: connection between timeless and static Vilnius architecture with human dynamics in sport.
We would like to introduce you another participant of the festival – a Vilnius based artist Pavel Pavel, a king of bric-à-brac, with “Not leaving the room” series.

Once popular in the Soviet photo underground genre of slide films (aka photo films) was overruled by video art. Rather big movement was lost without a trace – there is no documentation left, the films transformed to single-framed pictures, and specific technical equipment was thrown or given away.
Therefore screening of film “Remember”, 1986, by Victor Kalenik from Minsk is an opportunity to meet the art of the Minsk school representative and learn more about the history of this genre.
